Los Angeles based, American Rapper & Activist, Nipsey Hussle (born, Armiess Joseph Asghedom) emerged from the West Coast Hip Hop scene in the mid 2000’s. Nipsey focused on giving solutions and inspiration to young black youth, denouncing gun violence through his music, influence and community work. He funded improvements to neighborhood schools and spent time with students. Nipsey was murdered in 2019 as he was set to meet with local Law Enforcement to make positive relationship changes between Law Enforcement and the local community.
