This was a very unique project.  Brookshire Brothers contracted Architects and General Contractors to design and construct a grocery store directly across the street from Texas A&M’s athletic stadium.  The grocery store was designed to cater to the college students.

Upstairs, there is the ‘Garrigan Stables Lounge‘, a dining area branded with ‘Garrigan Stables‘ artwork.  The artwork is dedicated to honoring the memory of Garrigan Stables, which used to reside on the same property.  Garrigan Stables was a newly dedicated horse center at Texas A&M University in the early 1950’s by Mr and Mrs Owen Garrigan.  Downstairs, branding was painted at the ‘Gig ’em Goods’ corner which stocks merchandise for A&M college students.  Text was painted above the coffee bar near the exit to the fenced in music venue.

Outside at the music venue, text and silhouettes were painted on corrugated metal siding at the restrooms.  Text was also painted on steel beams above the concession stand and above the seating area facing the music venue.  A vintage Texas A&M Logo and ‘Stage 12′ text were painted on corrugated metal as a back drop to the stage.  The party atmosphere is inspiring and no doubt, ‘tons of fun’!
