In 2009, Paul submitted various African Wildlife Illustrations into a nationally juried contest in which selected image(s) would be published in an internationally distributed publication. Paul received notification in early April 2009 that one or more of the images he submitted will appear in the July/August 2009 issue of Communication Arts Magazine. Along with the publishing of his illustrations, Communication Arts will also publish a directory with all Artists' contact information.

The images Paul submitted can be found on the "Pencil Artwork" / "Pencil Wildlife" links of Simply Artistics website.
